Kat & Jack’s Party Rentals is a party supply delivery service based in Howard County, Maryland offering rentals for items such as moon bounces, inflatable water slides, and popcorn machines in Howard, Carroll, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, and Montgomery counties, as well as parts of Frederick, Maryland.

• Implemented cohesive brand guidelines across all Kat & Jack’s touch points and marketing materials
• Launched Kat & Jack’s website to handle online party rentals.
Company founder Wes contacted us in January of 2020 after our services were recommended to him by a former client. Wes was planning to open Kat & Jack’s in spring of 2020 and needed both branding and web design done for the business. He explained the business would be open during the warmer months, delivering bounces and other party supplies to customers with reserved slots.

Wes wanted the brand to be simple, family friendly, and versatile. After a few conversations and rounds of moodboarding, NRTHSTR created a logo and brand guidelines that would be used in marketing materials such as flyers, coupons, employee uniforms, van magnets, digital ad carousels, and business cards. The brand’s type pairings are friendly but professional. Shades of red and blue were chosen to add contrast in digital and print materials that would catch potential customers eyes. Illustrations and icons were also created using the brand’s color palette that were also used in Kat and Jack’s marketing and website. After branding, we worked to create a website using their branding guidelines, allowing customers to schedule and pay for rentals during Kat & Jack’s operating months.
